There is some outrage by senior officials in Iraq that after the pullout of American forces there, the State Department is flying unmanned drones in Iraqi airspace in what the State Department labels as protection for the U.S. Embassy and various consulates.
I personally can see where this stems from. Would the U.S. government allow or find it acceptable if Canada or the UK were to fly unmanned drones in U.S. airspace under the name of protecting their embassies? I doubt it. What are your thoughts?
